476 // March 31, 2009

Dave asked me this morning, last night or maybe yesterday morning if I gave up on Cocktail Hour. Ouch. I’m so sorry – I have been so frustrated with the email subscription service that I stepped away every other day while it caught up. I’m trying to find out what other [...]

475 // March 28, 2009

I’ve stitched together a bunch of photos that I took on the top of Mt. Morrison. It turned out really cool, but I can’t figure out how to make it into a video for you to view as a VR Panoramic. The next best thing I can do is present you [...]

474 // March 26, 2009

Just four days ago, it was 80 degrees in Denver and I actually got sunburned from being outside.
We had a blizzard today. At least a foot of snow (I haven’t searched for any conformation on inches yet) has blanketed the front range – including these tulips that I spent a couple [...]

Who else is ready for Spring?
This was taken on the Mt. Morrison hike this past weekend.

This is another photograph from the Denver Photoshoot. I was looking for a photograph that I could show you tonight that was a little bit different than what I usually represent – I don’t have a lot of architecture and these kinds of lines.
The title is another story. I am reminded [...]

471 // March 23, 2009

Continued from yesterday, we started on our up the hike to Mt. Morrison at Red Rock Entrance #4. This view was within the first 10 minutes.

Soon, we were high up – this is a view of the hogbacks of the Colorado Front Range.

Finally, at the summit of Mt. Morrison -7,781ft. By [...]

470 // March 22, 2009

We went on the first hike of the season this morning, Mt. Morrison. It was researched that this would be a 2,000 vertical climb over 1.5 miles – but it felt a lot longer than that.
I’m beat and will have more pictures to show you – this is at the top [...]

Another one from the Denver photo walk series by REI. If you haven’t already, you should check out some of the other photos in the pool from that day.

Another Tour-de-A-Basin photo.

466 // March 16, 2009

Met up with a couple of friends off of Twitter to shoot around Denver tonight. We met at the REI flagship and stuck around that area…

We walked around from about 5:30 to 7:30ish, grabbed our tripods just before sunset.

Speer Bridge at twilight – I have many more pictures to share, but [...]

Breckenridge as viewed from Arapahoe Basin’s Montezuma Bowl.

464 // March 14, 2009

Dave and I went skiing today – and he started me off on a double-black diamond. It would have been ok, but little did we know that ice balls ruled that run. So much for the wettest month of the year getting any snow…
He made it up to me by taking [...]

463 // March 13, 2009

Woah. There are some flowers blooming in the grass at Johnson & Wales – I naturally bent down to take a couple of macro shots. I kid you not, I had no idea that this image turned out so artisticly (like a painting) until I saw it on the computer. Almost [...]
