So this was the second vintage camera I ever acquired — a No. 2-A Autographic Folding Brownie — about a year ago.

It was introduced in 1915, and there is some wear on the bellows, but nonetheless I love having it around. You don’t have to know anything about cameras to know this is a pretty cool antique.

Plus, it folds up pretty nicely 🙂 There was actually film in the camera when I got it, it’s safe in a dark container, but not sure where/if I would be able to get it developed.

Now — I received yet another Brownie [Starlet] in the additions to my collection. This particular camera was introduced in 1957 and discontinued less than five years later. The manual is a hoot — the illustrations alone would crack up any designer or illustrator! I’ll try to post some images soon.
